Personal training
One-to-one coaching with Ryan, either pay-as-you-go or built into a membership. Programmes are written around your goals, your experience and the time you actually have.

The facility
ODAAT Fitness is a private members gym in Irvine, open 24 hours a day. Strength kit, free weights, resistance machines, six pieces of cardio, a boxing area and a sled track — on a floor that stays uncrowded because membership numbers are capped.
Lift heavy
A proper strength setup rather than a token corner. The power rack and Smith machine both sit on the main floor with their own benches, so you can squat, press and pull without moving kit around or waiting your turn.

Iron
Rubber hex dumbbells running from the light pairs right up to the heavy end, with barbells, EZ curl bars and plate storage along the wall so nothing ends up abandoned in the middle of the floor.

Guided movement
If you are new to training, coming back from a break, or just want to finish a session without a spotter, the machine area covers the main movements with a fixed path and a simple pin or plate load.

Engine work
Six different ways to get out of breath, all of them in the room rather than on a list. The curved treadmill and air bike are self-powered, so they run whatever time you turn up.

Work capacity
A marked sled track runs down one side of the floor, with kettlebells, medicine balls, slam balls and a plyo box for circuits and finishers.

Hands up
A heavy bag on a floor-standing frame with a speedball beside it, free for members to use as part of their own session. Bring your own wraps and gloves.

More than the kit

Small-group sessions with capped numbers, bookable online. Check the week, see how many spaces are left, and reserve in a couple of taps.
Members get secure access so you can train at any hour. Some hours are unstaffed, so there are a few sensible rules about training alone — worth two minutes of your time before your first session.
